Enrichment; Enlightenment.

Enrichment- The act of makeing something more full, more meaningful, or more rewarding.
Enlightenment-  Education that results in understanding and the spread of knowledge.

To the average highschool student, Shakespeare is that reeeeally REALLY old guy that writes those plays with that really boreing way of talking that makes no sense...
  <}------ ( nice hair )

On the surface, this may be a little hard to understand, especially for those of us who are ESL students, But it is this very thing that greater expands our understanding of this language, for you, and even for me.

If you have the ability to  analyse, interpret and comment on what shakespeare says, even in the lightest sense, it is this education that makes it useful.

"To be, or not to be?--that is the question:

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune

Or to take arms against a sea of troubles

                                                        And by opposing end them."

---{>  Above is the quote that mostly everybody thinks of when they think of shakespeare. Though this soliloquy seems to be in riddle, it is the question of life or death when faced with ultimate sorrow. It is this kind of quote that by analysing, both enlightens and enriches you.

---{> You sympathise with Hamlet, and begin to question your actions, and how things happen to you, how you deal with them.
  •  Is it really nobler to suffer the aguish caused by death then to commit suicide?
Personally, i was quite surprised at how interesting I found the actual plot, though it still is kind of hard to sit through, i do use these Ideas of enrichment and enlightenment to help me get through, and the plot is actually well written.

Furthermore, for those of you who are visual learners, ( Like myself), we watch the movie a couple of scenes ahead of what we read which really helps you to understand whats going on; you can figure out whats going on and interpret the words better by seeing the emotion, and as Chesser says, " Plays are meant to be acted, none of you are actors"
